eMerchantClub Releases Version 9.02 with Increased Capabilities
Click here to return to main contents page In our effort to continuously improve your eCommerce website, eMerchantClub has released the Version 9.02 with expanded capabilities. This version further improves on your already enhanced Version 9 website and gives you even more tools to help improve your business. Version 9.02 offers enhanced Web Feed functionality. With the brand new Your Site Feeds section, you can now generate your own web feeds based on products on your website. This new feature, which is located at Marketing > Web Feeds > Your Site Feeds, gives you an efficient new avenue for promoting your website and products. With version 9.02, you now have a choice of whether or not to offer the wish list capability on your website. This option is located in Sales > Shopping Cart Options. You can easily enable or disable the wish list from this page. Also, now you can easily add the Google Analytics tracking code to every page of your website. By placing the code provided by Google in the text box located on Marketing > Analytics , the Google Analytics code gets placed on every page of your shopping site so that you can thoroughly monitor your traffic statistics with your Google Analytics account. Our websites now have SMC's fuel surcharge built in so that you won't have to make any extra adjustments to compensate for this change in SMC's shipping costs. This will make it easier and more convenient for you to manage your shipping costs. In addition, version 9.02 now allows you to use html code in your department names. This will enable you to easily stylize your department names with colors and font styling to make them stand out to your shoppers. You can now easily add custom text on the shipping page of your site. This will allow you to explain to customers your shipping policy and pricing in your own words. A checkout button was added to the screen which comes up after a product name or image is clicked. This gives shoppers an additional access point to the checkout page, which increases the ease of the overall checkout process. The character limit was increased on the description text box on the department edit screen from 2,000 characters to 4,000 characters to give you more flexibility with your departments. Version 9.02 also has an added button to preview layout themes. You can now view the layout theme without applying it to your shopping site. And finally, with Version 9.02, we have added new links to video tutorials in the Site Manager. In addition to clicking the link to the online manual, you can now easily access video tutorials from many pages of your Site Manager. Hopefully, these new enhancements and features will help you to make your website an even more effective tool to help your business grow.
